AlGammal Holding has signed a partnership agreement with Lectrobar to develop and expand the Lectrobar Busway system in the region. The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Cairo on 16 February 2026.
What busway is and why it matters
Busway, or busduct, carries high electrical current through a building in a modular metal run instead of bundled cable. It installs faster, loses less power over distance and can be tapped where load is added later, which is why it is specified for data centers, industrial plants and large commercial buildings.
The group already manufactures busduct and busway through LectroGama, certified to IEC and UL, and installs it through its technology companies. The Lectrobar agreement adds an established product line to that platform and a route to market for Lectrobar in the group's countries of operation.
About Lectrobar
Lectrobar was founded in 1975 and manufactures busduct and busway systems. Under the agreement, the two companies will work on busway solutions for infrastructure, industrial and data center projects, and on building local capability to deliver them.
