Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies algammalholding.com sets, what they do, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
In short: we use a small number of strictly necessary and functional cookies, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because of that, the site does not show a cookie consent banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all; others remember a choice you made. We also use similar browser storage for the same purposes, and this policy covers it too.
Cookies we set
Only the following first-party cookies are set by this site:
- NEXT_LOCALE (functional): remembers whether you read the site in English or Arabic, so the next visit opens in your language. Kept until you close your browser.
- payload-token (strictly necessary): keeps you signed in to the careers portal or the partner and vendor portal. It is set only when you sign in, is not readable by scripts, and expires after 7 days for candidates and after 2 hours for portal and editorial accounts.
- __prerender_bypass and __next_preview_data (strictly necessary): used only by our content editors to preview unpublished pages. They are never set for visitors.
Performance monitoring
We measure how fast pages load with Vercel Speed Insights. It does not use cookies, does not identify you, and does not track you across sites; it collects aggregated timing metrics so we can keep the site fast.
Third-party content
Some pages embed content from other providers. When that content loads, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy:
- YouTube (news articles with video): embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, which sets cookies only if you play the video.
- Spline (the interactive 3D scene on the homepage).
- flagcdn.com (country flag images): serves images only and sets no cookies.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the portals; blocking NEXT_LOCALE only means the site will ask your browser for its preferred language on each visit. The help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge explain how.
Changes and contact
If we add cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about cookies: info@algammalholding.com.
